Senior Accountant

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

What you will do

• Prepare and post selected journal entries and perform high-risk account reconciliations.
• Prepare draft local and entity financial statements, supporting schedules, variance analysis, and commentary for Saudi Arabia and other RHQ-supported entities.
• Support month-end and year-end close, internal and external audits, and compliance activities across supported jurisdictions.
• Partner with Project Managers and operational teams on project reviews, document control, reporting, budget tracking, project status updates, workloads, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Human Resources, and Legal functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, financial system enhancements, upgrades, and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in operational or financial accounting.
• Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, close schedules, and audit support.
• Experience in a project-based environment such as engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Exposure to WIP, project accounting, billing, receivables, and centralized or shared-services accounting models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Oracle EBS or a similar ERP system.
