What you will do

• Conduct financial analysis for the mortgage warehouse credit area.
• Analyze and interpret company and market financial data.
• Prepare reports on financial developments, policies, plans, market conditions, rates, and legal or accounting requirements.
• Provide analytical, planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise for projects and business decisions.
• Develop analytical tools and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Address escalated issues and ensure departmental activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience and/or training preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building, interpretive statistics, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.
• Ability to plan, lead, and execute projects, manage competing priorities, make independent decisions, and follow through.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, consultative, and presentation skills; proficiency with MS Office and financial spreading software.
