Mortgage Acct Commissions Analyst

Location: San Antonio, TX, United States; full-time onsite role

Company

Financial services organization providing mortgage-related operations and employee compensation administration.

What you will do

• Interpret and track variable compensation agreements for Mortgage employees.
• Calculate and submit commissions, bonuses, overrides, and other payroll incentives on bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
• Prepare commission and payroll reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile payable accounts to the general ledger.
• Create and post month-end accruals and variable compensation payroll journal entries.
• Prepare employee statements and production reports before payroll distribution.
• Match commissions to loan revenue, update draw schedules, and notify personnel about overdue draw paybacks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least five years of experience in accounting reconciliations, journal entry preparation, commissions, or a related area.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, Workday, and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Access.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, data entry, and data validation skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, listening, multitasking, and client engagement skills.
