2027 Summer Internship – Civil or Structural Engineering (Big Creek)

Location: Big Creek, California, US; hybrid work with required reporting to an SCE facility. Employees are generally required to reside in California.

What you will do

• Work on real-world challenges in the utility and energy sector.
• Apply civil or structural engineering knowledge to cross-functional projects with support from a mentor.
• Use industry-relevant software and tools aligned with the field of study.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with project teams.
• Present the assigned internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Protect company assets and securely manage sensitive customer, proprietary, medical, and cybersecurity information.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering at an accredited institution.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Generally required to reside in California and report to an SCE facility on designated hybrid-work days.
• Transcripts will be verified during onboarding.
