Corporate Systems Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own and improve enterprise security technologies across EDR, SIEM, MDM, Zero Trust, identity, browsers, and SaaS applications.
• Establish secure configuration baselines and build mechanisms to detect and remediate configuration drift.
• Develop API-driven, infrastructure-as-code, and workflow-based automation for security operations and evidence collection.
• Partner with Corporate IT and application owners to securely deploy and operate endpoints, applications, and SaaS platforms.
• Integrate corporate systems with centralized monitoring to improve security telemetry and detection coverage.
• Translate CMMC 2.0 and NIST-aligned requirements into continuously validated technical controls.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, enterprise security, systems security, or a related technical role.
• Experience securing identity, SaaS, or Zero Trust environments.
• Experience building security automation with APIs, workflow platforms, infrastructure-as-code, scripting, or configuration management.
• Experience administering endpoint security, EDR, SIEM, MDM, or comparable enterprise security platforms.
• Ability to assess technical requirements through a security lens and implement practical controls across technical teams.
• Experience with CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-53, CIS STIGs, or similar security frameworks is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Workspace One, Okta, Splunk, REST APIs, webhooks, GitHub Actions, or Okta Workflows.
• Experience securing regulated, government, defense, or other high-assurance corporate environments.
