Project Engineer (AI)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite at the hirify.global location five days a week

What you will do

• Lead multiple manpower, systems, and operational improvement projects simultaneously.
• Evaluate and implement projects designed to reduce operating expenses, increase revenue, and enhance customer service.
• Develop and implement operating plans, conduct engineering studies, and prepare project data.
• Build models and analytical tools for engineers and operations teams.
• Set strategies that transform business processes and operational tools to support global operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Seven years of experience in industrial engineering or related engineering work.
• Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop operating plans, conduct studies, set strategies, and turn business processes into actionable tools.
• Ability to work onsite at the Memphis location five days per week.

Nice to have

• Python, R, SQL, and large-scale data processing experience.
• Machine learning and AI techniques, model deployment, and production AI environment experience.
• Statistical analysis, experimental design, and data visualization with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with MLOps.
