Product Manager (DeFi)

Location: Paris or remote, with working hours from -5h GMT up to +2h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the team

Morpho is a DeFi lending protocol building an open credit network that provides access to lending on improved terms.

What you will do

• Own the strategy for expanding into new credit markets and build a framework for sizing and sequencing opportunities.
• Assess markets including custodied Bitcoin, tokenized equities, undercollateralized credit, and credit card receivables using market data and competitive dynamics.
• Identify institutional needs across use cases and industries to determine which problems to solve for each loan type.
• Collaborate with protocol, engineering, solutions, partnerships, marketing, and legal teams to decide where to build or partner.
• Ship zero-to-one loan categories and design proof-of-concept programs with new counterparty types.
• Map regulatory, compliance, and registration requirements and incorporate them into market-entry decisions.

Requirements

• Proven track record taking products from zero to one in greenfield markets.
• Experience in crypto, traditional finance, or fintech, with a working understanding of credit markets.
• Experience shipping products with regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to create clarity and drive decisions in highly ambiguous environments.
• Fast synthesis and ability to ramp up quickly on unfamiliar industries and markets.
