Maintenance Technician C (Diesel Equipment)

Location: Hickory, NC, USA; onsite maintenance work

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of a lead technician, maintenance supervisor, or maintenance manager.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions.
• Complete oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work.
• Make routine mechanical and electrical adjustments and perform basic repairs.
• Complete applicable company training programs and other assigned job-related duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance work at the Hickory, North Carolina location.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• Automotive Service Excellence ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
