Drinking Water Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

Location: Missouri and Kansas locations, including Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Columbia, and Wichita, United States

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of complex drinking water projects, from development and initiation through closeout.
• Plan and design treatment facilities, pump stations, distribution systems, and related municipal water infrastructure.
• Manage project staffing, schedules, budgets, financial reviews, deliverables, contractual negotiations, and design review meetings.
• Develop client relationships, support business development initiatives, and pursue new projects across Missouri and Kansas.
• Maintain project quality and implement QA/QC procedures.
• Supervise and mentor project staff while supporting the development of water business capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license, PE or P.Eng.
• Experience designing complex municipal drinking water systems, treatment facilities, and collection systems.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, project management, business development, and strategic planning skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with condition assessment, asset management, and master planning.
• Local presence in one of the listed Missouri or Kansas locations.
