Sr. Manager HCC, Southeast Asia (Healthcare Compliance)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia or Thailand; hybrid role with travel of up to 20–30% across Southeast Asia

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for Malaysia, Thailand, and potentially other Southeast Asian markets.
• Develop and execute healthcare compliance strategies aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks across commercial, promotional, professional education, and operational activities.
• Advise business leaders and embed compliance controls into business processes and go-to-market models.
• Oversee training, monitoring, risk assessments, issue management, investigations, audits, and regulator interactions.
• Monitor regulatory developments, prepare risk assessments and recommendations, and promote a culture of integrity and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable in Southeast Asia.
• Experience leading complex, multi-country compliance programs and partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Thai is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or the broader life sciences industry.
• Experience with compliance monitoring, investigations, remediation, audits, and change management.
• Experience operating in highly matrixed, multicultural environments.
