Senior Program Director (Civil Engineering)

What you will do

• Lead complex, high-impact portfolios across multiple clients, markets, or regions.
• Manage executive-level client relationships, account growth strategies, portfolio negotiations, and major contract execution.
• Oversee Program Directors and senior project teams to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery.
• Monitor and forecast portfolio performance while coordinating client activities and delivery.
• Provide technical direction and accountability for team quality, productivity, and performance.
• Mentor and develop leaders, support succession planning, and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, or a related field, plus preferably at least 20 years of direct project management experience in design and construction; alternatively, 25 years of related experience and/or training is required.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple projects.
• Professional licensure such as RA, PE, PS, or RLA is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Deltek, and Newforma, plus computer skills for timesheet entry and email correspondence.
• Ability to travel.
