Information Architect (AI)

Salary: $137,400–$240,400 USD per year, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data model design aligned with data mesh and medallion architectures.
• Govern enterprise data models, canonical entities, lineage, semantic layers, ontologies, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies.
• Design data product schemas and architectural guardrails across Snowflake and Databricks, including Delta Lake structures.
• Define data contracts, data quality frameworks, transformation standards, and pipeline review practices.
• Enable natural-language query and LLM-augmented data products using Snowflake Cortex, Databricks Genie, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Act as a data architecture design authority, present decisions to senior stakeholders and review boards, and mentor junior architects and engineers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or information management, including enterprise data modelling at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with SqlDBM or an equivalent modern modelling tool and dbt Labs.
• Good Python, API integration, and automation skills.
• Practical Snowflake and Databricks experience, including Cortex AI and Genie, plus experience with an agentic AI framework and an AI coding assistant such as GitHub Copilot.
• Working knowledge of OWL, RDF, SPARQL, enterprise ontology design, and financial data or regulatory requirements; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Data Vault 2.1 alongside Kimball or star-schema modelling.
• Data mesh, data product ownership, and federated governance experience.
• Knowledge graph platforms such as Neo4j or Neptune.
• Published thought leadership or community contributions in data or AI.
