Principal Mechatronics Engineer / Technical Lead - System Design

What you will do

• Lead technology evaluations, voice-of-customer exercises, competitive benchmarking, and proof-of-concept development for precision fluid dispensing.
• Architect electromechanical systems incorporating actuators, sensors, real-time control algorithms, data science, and digital communication interfaces.
• Demonstrate prototypes to customers and refine product requirements based on feedback.
• Provide technical leadership to interdisciplinary engineering teams developing products from concept through high-volume production.
• Create design verification and validation plans, oversee testing, analyze results, debug failures, and support regulatory compliance certification.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience launching electromechanical products into production.
• Experience with actuators, sensors, precision mechanical components, embedded systems, real-time control, and digital communication interfaces.
• Track record of interdisciplinary technical ownership across firmware/software, electrical, and mechanical design decisions.
• Individual contributor expertise in mechanical, electrical, or firmware development, with the ability to drive high-level technical decisions across the other disciplines.
• Understanding of mechanical design, mixed-signal circuit design, and embedded software development principles.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
