What you will do

• Secure, load, maintain, and audit payer fee schedule data.
• Interpret contract reimbursement terms and maintain payer documentation.
• Compare actual reimbursement with contractual rates for drugs and procedures.
• Research payment discrepancies, identify underpayment trends, and review underpaid claims.
• Compile recovery data, manage underpayment appeals, and follow up on accounts.
• Report recovery efforts and recovered amounts to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in accounts receivable, healthcare, or managed care preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of billing procedures and CPT, HCPCS, and ICD codes.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
