Software Engineer 2 (Spark/MapReduce/SQL/NoSQL/Pandas/Numpy/SciPy)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; onsite role

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Develop high-performance cloud-based analytics solutions.
• Process and analyze heavy volumes of data.
• Build distributed computing and big data solutions.
• Maintain and improve analytic software systems.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph are required.
• Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with Spark, MapReduce, SQL, NoSQL, Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Direct hire only; third-party staffing and recruiting firms are not considered.
