Chicago Business Performance Improvement Consultant - 2027

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with in-person work in local offices and on client sites, including possible local or out-of-state travel.

Salary: $72,000–$87,000 annually, plus a $2,000 bonus target.

What you will do

• Support client engagements across finance, operations, people and change, and supply chain and operations.
• Compile and analyze data to identify business insights and improvement opportunities.
• Document findings and communicate recommendations to clients and project teams.
• Apply critical thinking and innovation to complex business problems across industries.
• Build professional relationships with client and project personnel while contributing to high-quality deliverables.
• Develop technical and professional capabilities through varied project experiences and hands-on training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, project management, supply chain, or another relevant business discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Graduation must be within one year of final graduation at the time of internship.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, analytical ability, and strong critical-thinking skills.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting and finance processes, organizational operations, data interpretation, and documenting recommendations.
