Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, or 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test components of the Transfer Agency Investor Onboarding system.
• Develop AML/KYC applications for internal and client-facing use.
• Integrate in-house systems with vendor solutions and resolve issues in test and production environments.
• Clarify user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, data models, workflows, and system documentation.
• Create automated tests, deployment scripts, and continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, developers, testers, and specialists across multiple teams and locations throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Java and related technologies for multi-tiered service-oriented web applications.
• Practical experience with Spring MVC or Spring Boot, JMS, JPA, and JAX-* technologies.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and relational databases.
• Ability to create clean, modular, versatile code designed for unit testing.
• Ability to work from the Kraków office three days per week, or two days under the stated parental arrangement.
