Cement Mason

Location: Rochester, Minnesota, United States; travel to project sites up to 70+ miles away is required.

What you will do

• Pour, spread, level, smooth, shape, and finish concrete according to specifications.
• Prepare substrates and forms through chipping, blasting, bushing, and grinding.
• Perform concrete curing, patching, repair, and expansion-joint work.
• Operate power screeds, trowels, concrete saws, and other masonry equipment.
• Inspect work for compliance with construction schedules, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas while following company safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• ACI certification, or ability to obtain it within one year and maintain it.
• Ability to read blueprints and plan specifications and apply basic mathematics.
• Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, stand, bend, shovel, push, and rake throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally, travel to project sites, and work in varying climate conditions.
