Focus on managing publication plans, vendors, budgets, and regulatory oversight while integrating clinical data into broader medical communications and using AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $169,222–$253,000 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

  • Support global publication plans for CNS assets and align deliverables with medical strategy, data priorities, and product lifecycle needs.
  • Lead end-to-end development of congress abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and other peer-reviewed outputs.
  • Coordinate publication timelines, data prioritization, and congress and journal strategies with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage publication vendors and medical writing partners, including reviewing deliverables and providing direction.
  • Support budget tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and operational workflow improvements, including AI-enabled tools.
  • Maintain scientific, ethical, regulatory, and documentation standards across publication activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or a related pharmaceutical or biotechnology role.
  • Experience planning and executing publications for global or regional programs.
  • Experience working with external vendors and medical writers.
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and budget-tracking skills.
  • Knowledge of Good Publication Practices, ICMJE guidelines, industry standards, company SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
