Senior AI Agent Engineer

What you will do

• Partner with enterprise customers to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and translate business problems into agent-powered solutions.
• Design and build agentic automations using Beam’s Agent OS, including workflow scoping, prompt engineering, and integration configuration.
• Manage delivery end to end, including timelines, client expectations, and communication with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot live automations, diagnose issues, refine prompts, and improve performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope features, identify platform gaps, and contribute customer insights to the roadmap.
• Advise clients on AI adoption, workflow automation practices, and integration architecture.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Deployment Engineer, or Customer Engineer.
• Strong project management and communication skills, including the ability to manage delivery timelines and explain technical concepts to engineers and executives.
• Demonstrated experience writing, testing, and optimizing prompts in production or near-production environments.
• Experience using AI to automate real business processes.
• Solid API knowledge and experience coordinating integrations with external systems.
• Analytical, process-driven thinking with the ability to structure complex business workflows into automation solutions.
