Registered Nurse - Part Time (Oncology)

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, with travel to nearby Illinois CancerCare satellite clinics 1–2 days per week

Hiring pay range: $34.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience, education, and other factors.

What you will do

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments in accordance with safety protocols.
• Perform port flushes, dressing changes, injections, catheterizations, and other clinical procedures.
• Assess patients in person and by phone for side effects, toxicities, emergencies, and overall well-being.
• Support physicians with diagnostic procedures, provide nursing assessments, and triage patient calls.
• Prepare daily treatment schedules, teaching materials, and clinic resources.
• Travel to satellite clinics, collaborate with care partners, and maintain HIPAA and safety standards.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license required.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Passion for oncology nursing and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Ability to handle and lift patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

• BSN degree.
• OCN certification, to be obtained within 3 years.
