What you will do

• Review, analyze, and interpret medical information in claim files.
• Assess medical documentation and provide balanced conclusions about claim direction and next steps.
• Collaborate with claims professionals, physicians, internal resources, and healthcare providers.
• Clarify functional capacity, treatment plans, and recovery expectations.
• Initiate return-to-work plans where appropriate and coach non-medical staff on medical topics.
• Maintain professional certifications and complete required medical education.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing and an active RN license required.
• BS degree strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex medical issues clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
