PLM Solution Architect (Teamcenter)

Location: Onsite in Mettawa, Illinois or Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States. Relocation is available; no travel is required.

Salary: $103,200–$150,000 annually, plus an eligible discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end PLM project delivery and own solution execution across multiple business divisions.
• Define PLM roadmaps and digital transformation strategies aligned with business growth and innovation.
• Gather business requirements, lead solution design sessions, and guide key architectural decisions.
• Design and develop Teamcenter customizations using ITK, BMIDE, and SOA frameworks.
• Build Teamcenter workflows, access controls, business rules, and integrations with CAD, ERP, and MES systems.
• Design PLM infrastructure components, including databases, volumes, web tiers, search indexing, and CAD integrations, while supporting organizational change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• 12+ years of experience implementing Teamcenter PLM solutions and strong knowledge across engineering, manufacturing, and service.
• Deep experience with Active Workspace configuration, customization, architecture, upgrades, and implementations.
• Strong PLM process knowledge and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead delivery.
• Expertise in CAD-to-PLM integrations, including NX, SolidWorks, Creo, OrCAD, and Altium.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP, reporting, supply chain, and service applications, as well as developing migration strategies from legacy systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based Teamcenter environments on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Polarion ALM.
