Solution Architect - Agile Teams (w/m/d) (Altium)

Location: Munich, Germany; remote work is not available. Occasional travel to customer sites is required. Remote work from abroad is available for up to 30 days per year.

What you will do

• Deploy and configure the Altium Agile Platform for mid-market and small enterprise customers.
• Translate customer engineering workflows into configurations covering libraries, roles, permissions, data management, and design processes.
• Support lightweight PLM practices, including lifecycles, revision schemes, BOM structures, and change processes.
• Guide engineering teams adopting or scaling Altium tools and troubleshoot workflow, configuration, and data structure issues.
• Create scoped implementation plans, document configurations and best practices, and assist with migrations of libraries, components, and project structures.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Product, and R&D teams on integrations, advanced technical issues, and customer feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in solutions consulting, technical support, PCB design, CAD administration, or engineering process roles.
• Experience with Altium Designer or Altium 365 is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of ECAD workflows, libraries, project structures, data management, cloud systems, permissions, and integrations.
• Understanding of PLM concepts such as lifecycles, BOMs, revision schemes, and change management.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication, documentation, time-management, and customer collaboration skills.
