Climate Data Specialist - Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Identify automation opportunities, prototype solutions, and champion AI adoption across climate data workflows.
• Build and maintain Python scripts for data collection, transformation, quality assurance, and reporting.
• Integrate LLM tools such as Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT for document extraction, classification, and anomaly detection.
• Collect, process, and validate climate and ESG data from disclosures, vendor feeds, and public filings.
• Design multi-layer QA frameworks, rule-based checks, anomaly detection logic, dashboards, and tracking systems.
• Train analysts and collaborate with vendors, analysts, technology teams, and other stakeholders on methodology and process changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative field; Finance, Environmental Science, or Sustainability degrees are also considered with strong technical experience.
• Experience in data operations, data engineering, or analytical roles; fresh graduates are welcome.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Python experience, with the ability to script, automate, and analyze data pipelines independently.
• Active experience using generative AI and LLM tools in operational workflows.
• Working knowledge of SQL, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a global, deadline-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to ESG or climate data.
• Understanding of TCFD, ISSB, GRI, and carbon reporting standards.
