Software Engineer Mid (.NET)

What you will do

• Develop and manage rich-client enterprise web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
• Build secure, robust, and transactional applications using object-oriented design and service-oriented architectures.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and document application functions.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, functional analysts, and business analysts on viable solutions, specifications, tests, and acceptance criteria.
• Improve application performance, operating efficiency, functionality, and technical evolution.
• Work with the Development Manager to support delivery timelines and contribute to hiring activities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software development experience with the Microsoft stack.
• At least 4 years of web application development experience with Angular and SQL databases.
• Experience with .NET 6.0 or later, RESTful services, WebAPI, SQL Server, SOA, and Domain-Driven Development.
• Strong programming skills in C#, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of application security, including authentication and authorization, infrastructure blueprints, and DevOps.
• Experience in a science-related company.

• Strong documentation and process-improvement experience.
• Knowledge of design patterns and their implementation.
• Experience refactoring WinForms applications into browser-based applications using automated tools and AI.
• Experience deploying applications in Azure.
