Environmental Monitoring Specialist Group Leader (Weekends)

Location: Holly Springs, NC, USA; candidates should live within a commutable distance. Full-time weekend schedule: Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. The role requires walking and standing throughout shifts in a manufacturing plant.

What you will do

• Collect environmental monitoring and utilities monitoring samples.
• Manage sample collection logistics and coordinate required testing materials and supplies.
• Enter samples and data into the LIMS system.
• Support and monitor a team of direct reports.
• Participate in interviews, employee onboarding, and staff training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• Previous leadership experience and a scientific background.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to remain on your feet and walk around a manufacturing plant for the duration of the shift.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible, self-starting, and results-oriented approach.
