Security Engineer II (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid work required near the Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC offices; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Base salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, plus variable incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, enhance, test, implement, and support information security technologies.
• Investigate security incidents, resolve issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement, configure, and maintain IAM infrastructure using Active Directory, Entra ID, and MFA.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and perform threat modeling for products and services.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate and automate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Recommend and implement security solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, networking, cybersecurity frameworks, and auditable standards.
• Basic scripting and programming experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, CSPM, EDR, IAM solutions, CrowdStrike Falcon, Check Point Harmony, and Microsoft Defender.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
