Credit Analyst II (Financial Analysis)

Location: In-office at the Scottsdale, Arizona branch; remote work is not available. Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

What you will do

• Analyze financial statements and third-party data for public and private domestic and international customers.
• Assess creditworthiness and recommend credit limits, payment terms, and risk ratings under company policy.
• Manage and monitor a portfolio of moderately to highly complex accounts, identifying changes in financial condition, payment behavior, and business risk.
• Review payment trends, industry conditions, and customer structures to support credit decisions.
• Prepare compliant journal entries and draft internal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements and Letters of Guarantee.
• Communicate credit decisions and risk concerns to branch offices and internal stakeholders, escalating complex matters when appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in credit, financial analysis, or a related area.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and credit reports.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk principles and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, accuracy, customer service, and independent decision-making skills.
