Working Student (m/f/d): IT Security (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global provides internal IT services and supports digitization for the OHB Group, a major European space-industry organization.

What you will do

• Analyze, prioritize, and track IT vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation activities with business and IT teams.
• Support the coordination of security events and incidents, including status reporting and documentation.
• Help implement and continuously improve security requirements based on BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, ISO 27001, and comparable frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal departments, IT teams, and external service providers on security requirements and mitigation follow-up.
• Prepare reports, KPIs, and management summaries and support audits, risk assessments, and information-security improvement projects.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in (Business) Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline.
• Independent, structured, and proactive working approach.
• Strong interest in technology, IT, and information security.
• Previous practical IT experience through internships, working student positions, or personal projects is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a dynamic IT security environment.
