IMS Security Governance Specialist (IMS)

Location: Budapest, Szeged, Pécs, or Debrecen, Hungary; remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Perform security reviews of IMS-related projects within the internal security assessment process.
• Advise project teams on security, compliance, and Deutsche Telekom security requirements.
• Assess VoLTE, VoWiFi, and 5G IMS architectures and designs.
• Define, review, and help enforce security requirements and best practices for IMS-based solutions.
• Identify, assess, and document security risks, supporting risk acceptance and exception processes.
• Govern security testing, evaluate results, track findings, and follow up on remediation.

Requirements

• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Strong knowledge of IMS core components, including P-/I-/S-CSCF, HSS/UDM, SBC, and TAS/AS.
• Experience with VoLTE, VoWiFi, 5G IMS, telecom signaling, interconnect security, and service exposure.
• Knowledge of SIP/Diameter protection, TLS, IPsec, mutual authentication, certificate handling, segmentation, and firewalling.
• Experience with security governance, policies, compliance frameworks, risk assessment, vulnerability management, or security analysis.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, communicate effectively, and collaborate in multicultural environments.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in risk and vulnerability management.
• German language skills.
• Understanding of virtualization, containerization, NFV, and cloud-native principles.
