SOC/CDC Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Take technical responsibility for the Cyber Defense Center detection engineering process and develop it further.
• Improve detection and response capabilities, including workflows and the security toolchain.
• Implement and optimize alerting and detection rules.
• Support analysts with real-time monitoring, event and alarm analysis, triage, and coaching when required.
• Collaborate with infrastructure operations teams, including Malware Defense and Vulnerability Management.
• Create documentation and provide project consultancy on solution use and new tool integrations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, ideally in global companies.
• Experience building or developing SOC/CDC structures in an international environment, including SIEM and SOAR.
• Ability to use and understand scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Fluent written and spoken English required; German language experience is advantageous.
