Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; travel required less than 10%.

What you will do

• Develop and manage enterprise security strategies using Microsoft Intune, Sentinel, and Defender.
• Lead incident response, threat hunting, and forensic investigations with Sentinel and Splunk.
• Develop IT roadmaps covering future technology needs, emerging threats, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement automated patch management and Defender for Cloud capabilities to reduce attack surface.
• Configure and continuously monitor Sentinel, including workbooks and executive-level SIEM reporting.
• Implement Intune-based data loss prevention and develop enterprise risk mitigation and contingency plans.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance is required.
• 3–5 years of experience as an ISSM.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or CNSSI 4012 certificate or ADQ GA7.
• Completion of NEC 2779, NEC 3372, or A-4C-1340 certification/training.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Sentinel, Defender, Splunk, SIEM, incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis.
• Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI, PII, CUI, ITAR, and FedRAMP requirements.

Nice to have

• CompTIA CISSP or CASP certification.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and the Department of Defense eMASS database.
• Familiarity with STIG Viewer and eMASS.
