Inspector I Quality Control (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Inspect parts from internal and external suppliers against design tolerances before manufacturing use and shipment.
• Identify and report defects and non-conforming materials to the Quality Manager or Quality Engineer.
• Coordinate daily inspection priorities with Quality Management and support production shipment requirements.
• Assist with creating non-conformance reports and perform sorting operations when needed.
• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and Quality stakeholders to achieve complete product inspection and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T callouts.
• Knowledge of inspection tools such as scopes, calipers, and micrometers, including sustained microscope use.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work weekends when needed and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Quality control experience or a strong quality background.
• Experience with Keyence visual inspection tools or OGP SmartScope.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
