Deputy Program Manager (MANP2)

Location: Washington Navy Yard and nearby offices in Washington, DC; onsite work is required up to 5 days per week. Telework may be possible with customer approval. Occasional travel may be required to naval locations including Norfolk, VA, and San Diego, CA.

What you will do

• Support the Program Manager overseeing a 200-person contractor team, including subcontractor personnel.
• Support planning, direction, organization, and execution of large, multi-year defense programs and sub-programs.
• Help formulate and guide technical approaches and define resource requirements with government and agency stakeholders.
• Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and program costs.
• Support program execution across surface radar, electronic warfare, EO/IR, decoy, and laser initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• High school diploma or GED plus 20 years of relevant program management or administrative experience; or a bachelor's degree plus 15 years; or a master's degree plus 10 years.
• Relevant experience must cover surface radars, electronic warfare, EO/IR, decoys, and/or laser programs.
• Experience with program planning, technical direction, milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.

Nice to have

• Active Secret Clearance and PMP certification.
• Experience managing support services contracts and ACAT I through ACAT IV programs.
• Knowledge of Navy and Department of Defense policy, guidance, and program execution.
• Financial management, Foreign Military Sales, communication, and briefing experience.
