What you will do

• Design and develop features and products for large-scale, cloud-native insurance applications.
• Build frontend solutions using ReactJS, Redux, Material UI, JSS, GraphQL, and related web technologies.
• Develop highly scalable Java and Kotlin microservices and contribute to public API and document-rendering solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while maintaining high coding and software-quality standards.
• Identify system problems, debug issues, implement fixes, and support continuous product functionality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and test automation specialists; mentor junior software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in several technologies including Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ReactJS, JavaScript frontend frameworks, Node.js, CSS/SCSS, JSS, HTML, or styled components.
• Backend microservice development experience in Java or Kotlin and understanding of client-server integrations.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as React Testing Library and Jest.
• Ability to communicate confidently, collaborate effectively, learn across software engineering areas, and take ownership of results.

Nice to have

• Experience with OAuth2 authentication principles and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture, APIs, solution design, GraphQL, and Backend for Frontend concepts.
• Experience with GitLab, Cloudflare, and CI/CD pipelines.
