Buyer - Activewear (Ecommerce Fashion)

Location: Onsite in Beverly Hills, California, Monday–Friday during core business hours

What you will do

• Develop and execute Nova’s activewear and athleisure assortment strategy, balancing newness with core replenishment.
• Forecast fashion, activewear, social media, street-style, and competitor trends and translate them into products.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, quality, fabrications, and delivery timelines to optimize margins.
• Manage weekly sales performance, open-to-buy budgets, pricing, inventory velocity, and markdown reduction.
• Collaborate with production, replenishment, planning, creative, and marketing teams on launches, reorders, and promotions.
• Use sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to refine assortments and identify revenue opportunities.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of apparel buying experience in a fast-paced ecommerce fashion environment.
• Direct buying experience in activewear, athleisure, or sports categories.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Production, Business, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
• English proficiency required; additional languages are an advantage.
