Assistant Buyer - Outlet

Location: Hybrid role based at the headquarters near Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite four days per week. Relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Support seasonal buying strategies to achieve sales and gross margin goals.
• Collect, analyze, and report current business trends using Power BI dashboards and Excel.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal documentation and visual assortment tools.
• Support in-season pricing and promotional management.
• Collaborate with product line management, allocation, planning, marketing, visual merchandising, and store operations.
• Create product catalogs, upload orders, and reconcile seasonal buys.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in buying, retail merchandising, merchandise planning, or allocation.
• Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Understanding of the retail industry and retail-specific metrics.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite four days per week near Portland, Oregon; relocation assistance is not available.

Nice to have

• Illustrator experience.
• Resourceful, resilient, confident, analytical, and creative approach to assortment building.
