Senior Agentic Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives, workflows, technical environments, data, and operational constraints.
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into technical requirements, solution architectures, prototypes, and delivery plans.
• Design and build AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, APIs, data pipelines, developer tools, and full-stack products.
• Engineer AI harnesses, agent loops, state graphs, tools, memory, permissions, runtime controls, observability, and feedback mechanisms.
• Create evaluation frameworks measuring task completion, accuracy, reliability, safety, latency, cost, and user value.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, cloud platforms, and third-party services while troubleshooting complex client-environment issues.

Requirements

• Professional experience building and deploying production-grade software, including AI-powered or agentic systems.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, test-driven development, cloud deployment, APIs, distributed systems, databases, and modern software development.
• Experience with agent loops, graph-based orchestration, state machines, multi-step workflows, AI evaluation, monitoring, and failure diagnosis.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, plus the ability to evolve prototypes into secure, maintainable production systems.
• Strong communication, product judgment, ownership, and customer-collaboration skills; ability to travel occasionally for client workshops or on-site delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks, workflow engines, coding agents, custom model orchestration, tool interfaces, sandboxes, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector search, knowledge graphs, fine-tuning, and model routing.
• Experience with AI observability, adversarial testing, online experiments, production feedback, and multi-agent or multi-model systems.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, regulated enterprise environments, consulting, or solutions engineering.
