Sanitation Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Fremont, Ohio, United States; onsite in a manufacturing plant environment with shifts, weekends, and required overtime as needed.

New hire base salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and execution of the hirify.global sanitation program across the manufacturing plant.
• Develop cleaning standards, sanitation sequencing, and Clean in Place system oversight.
• Manage sanitation audits, cleaning verification and validation programs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership and training for production and sanitation personnel while ensuring chemical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with plant leaders, Headquarters Quality Assurance, chemical suppliers, and third-party sanitation providers.
• Manage sanitation staff, employee development, departmental budgets, and process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and HGPS methods.

Requirements

• Manufacturing or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP, microbiology, sanitation, chemical safety, pest control, and quality systems.
• Knowledge of Clean in Place systems and production or quality procedures.
• Understanding of OSHA, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
• Strong leadership, technical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment.

Nice to have

• Certified Sanitarian certification.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
