Sr. Buyer or Purchasing Manager

What you will do

• Oversee a group of buyers and coordinate purchasing activities for the Clearwater site.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of complex components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
• Manage expediting, pull-in requests, and push-out or cancellation negotiations.
• Resolve invoicing issues with suppliers and accounts payable.
• Escalate supplier quality and delivery issues, drive recovery, and coordinate root-cause and corrective-action efforts.
• Work with commodity and purchase-order teams to reduce lead times, improve flexibility, and increase LTA penetration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field is recommended.
• 4–6 years of purchasing experience.
• Project management experience and demonstrated leadership in order management and logistics.
• Proficiency in MRP and Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, production control, material manufacturing methods, and automated EDI environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision in a complex environment.

• Six Sigma certification.
