Sr. Supply Chain Manager (AI/manufacturing): Leading and optimizing supply chain operations for a large manufacturing site with an accent on SIOP, demand planning, production scheduling, raw material purchasing, and inventory control. Focus on integrating AI-driven planning tools, reducing inventory, managing capacity constraints, and improving production and shipment performance.
Location: Hanover, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite work at the Hanover manufacturing site

What you will do
- Lead and continuously improve SIOP, demand forecasting, rough-cut capacity planning, and demand control.
- Manage production scheduling and production meetings to improve efficiency, lead times, past-due orders, and on-time delivery.
- Lead purchasing of raw materials and packaging, working with vendors to improve minimum order quantities, lead times, consignment programs, and delivery performance.
- Develop level-loaded shipment strategies with 3PL warehouses to meet weekly and monthly revenue commitments.
- Implement AI-driven tools for inventory planning, control, and optimization, and lead inventory reduction initiatives.
- Oversee inventory cycle counts, reconciliation, supply chain best practices, and cross-functional improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- 7+ years of supply chain management experience in manufacturing or industrial production.
- Strong expertise in SIOP, demand planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and cycle counting.
- Experience implementing AI tools and using SAP/MRP systems, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to work off-peak hours and travel up to 15%; PPE is required when working at or visiting manufacturing and plant locations.
Nice to have
- MBA or equivalent qualification.
- APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP.
