Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Hagfors, Sweden; regular on-site presence required, with most working days spent at the site. Candidates may relocate or commute from Karlstad or nearby towns.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a manufacturing organization of approximately 100 professionals.
• Own site safety, HSE, operational performance, quality, delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead production, production engineering, maintenance, purchasing, and site support functions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, productivity, cost competitiveness, and data-driven operational performance.
• Set operational goals, ensure appropriate organizational structure and resources, and lead change initiatives.
• Build relationships with employees, unions, customers, local authorities, and other stakeholders while contributing to hirify.global's global manufacturing network.

Requirements

• Several years of leadership experience managing manufacturing operations and full production organizations.
• Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and HSE performance.
• Experience leading organizational change and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of production processes, quality management, maintenance, productivity improvement, and supply chain collaboration.
• Good financial and business acumen, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in Swedish and English is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
