AML Consultant, Compliance

Location: Luxembourg; office-based full-time role

What you will do

• Advise the business, especially Transfer Agency, on EU and Luxembourg AML/CTF and international financial sanctions requirements.
• Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and follow up on identified issues through completion.
• Review and approve politically exposed persons and high-risk clients.
• Support the implementation of new AML/CTF regulations, CSSF circulars, and restrictive-measures requirements.
• Prepare AML/CTF compliance reporting, including input for the annual Compliance report.
• Support policy reviews, AML training updates, annual risk assessments, and other MLRO activities.

Requirements

• Proven Compliance or AML/CTF experience in Luxembourg’s banking or asset-servicing industry.
• Understanding of EU and Luxembourg AML/CTF and international financial sanctions regulations.
• Understanding of custody, depositary, Transfer Agency, and banking activities.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise risk reports.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to present and contribute effectively in business meetings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with effective time management.
