Organic Search & SEO Manager

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Cleveland, OH (Hybrid: 3 days in-office)

What you will do

• Develop and own the organic search strategy and roadmap to drive traffic, leads, and revenue.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawlability, and structured data implementation.
• Guide content strategy to improve authority and visibility across traditional and AI-powered search engines.
• Experiment with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to adapt to shifting consumer behaviors.
• Manage relationships with external SEO agencies and cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Content.
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to connect organic performance to business outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SEO or organic search.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and site architecture.
• Proven track record of growing organic search performance and driving measurable business results.
• Experience managing external agencies, consultants, or partners.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Ability to translate complex search data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in direct-to-consumer, ecommerce, or financial services/insurance sectors.
• Hands-on experience with AEO, GEO, or AI-search visibility.
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams on technical SEO.
