Finance Executive, Malaysia

What you will do

• Support monthly and year-end financial closing, including reconciliations, journal preparation, and financial analysis.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support enhanced BNM reporting for MFRS 4 and MFRS 17 on a quarterly basis.
• Assist auditors and authorities during audit exercises and reviews by providing requested information.
• Drive improvements to finance processes and systems through automation and procedure reviews.
• Support regulatory projects, cross-functional initiatives, and IFRS 17 implementation, including data mapping and system enhancement.

Requirements

• Experience with finance processes and procedures is preferred; MFRS 17 experience is highly preferred.
• Strong numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
• Effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic finance environment.
