Scientist MRI (Pharmaceutical Characterization)

What you will do

• Develop and validate MRI methods for pharmaceutical materials, formulations, and dosage forms.
• Establish MRI workflows complementary to CT scan analysis for water ingress, hydration kinetics, coating and capsule performance, device functionality, and sedimentation studies.
• Translate imaging data into formulation and process insights for project teams.
• Support cross-functional studies across formulation development, analytical development, material science, and product performance assessment.
• Build internal MRI expertise, standard operating procedures, and fit-for-purpose data interpretation practices.
• Perform basic solid-state NMR experiments and maintain compliance with GMP, safety, environmental, health, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with pre-clinical MRI instrumentation.
• Experience interpreting imaging and spectroscopic data.
• Master’s degree in physics, chemistry, or a related field.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate in a global environment.
• Scientific curiosity, proactivity, and strong collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience with solid-state NMR.
