Environmental Planner 2

Location: Austin or Round Rock, Texas, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Assist with preparing and managing local municipal permitting documents and components.
• Plan and manage permitting submittals from start to finish.
• Coordinate permitting schedules for inclusion in overall project and design schedules.
• Review technical documentation related to permitting.
• Support project managers, task leads, and design leads throughout permitting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of environmental experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with different design teams, meet tight deadlines, and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Experience using Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience working with varied personalities and multidisciplinary teams.
