Product Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Pudong, Shanghai, China; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise to customers, sales professionals, and internal partners on product quality, processing techniques, and problem resolution.
• Manage product quality and performance issues, including root cause analysis, solution development, project management, and customer communications.
• Own and communicate process changes, including notification levels, success criteria, and white paper approvals.
• Analyze customer complaints and requests to drive product and service improvements.
• Interpret analytical data, prepare customer reports, and coordinate technical requirements with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with account teams, customer quality teams, operations, supply chain, field service, sales, marketing, R&D, and analytical laboratories.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of customer-facing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication; CMP process knowledge is desirable.
• Experience with analytical methods and equipment, data analysis, technical reporting, Six Sigma concepts, and quality management such as 8D methodology.
• English and Chinese language skills required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
