Application Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Minnesota Sales. This is not a remote role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 base per year, negotiable based on experience, plus an additional monthly productivity and profit bonus.

What you will do

• Design sustainable mechanical ventilation and control strategies for a broad range of commercial applications.
• Review critical projects for accuracy, quality, and alignment with design standards.
• Provide sales engineers with real-time technical guidance and resolve application and design questions.
• Research unique and emerging HVAC applications and equipment types.
• Develop webinars, support pages, design tools, and other training resources for the sales engineering team.
• Review and analyze remote monitoring data to identify trends and useful insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• 0–5 years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and ventilation systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and derive trends using Excel or similar software.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex mechanical equipment and controls to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter attitude and ability to manage long-term tasks with limited guidance; legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
